After reading a recent Serious Eats article about the best thin crust pizza places in the Bay Area, I had to go and try some of them myself. The two I tried were Arinell in the Mission and Nick's Pizza in Oakland. Both were really good, tiny hole-in-the-wall places.
Las Vegas. It's always hard to decide where to eat with hundreds of great food joints. On our recent trip, I decided to look for some kind of Asian or Hawaiian place for breakfast. We found a
place that looked like it had great looking malasadas called Island Sushi And Grill
south of The Strip. When we entered, we noticed that it was 3 places in one.
There was a sushi restaurant on one side, Hawaiian plate lunch on the other, and a pokē counter in the back.
I have always been jealous of the amazing delis in New York. In California, a good Jewish deli is just hard to find. I recently learned about Saul's Deli from my friend Brent.
